SeaPort-e Quality Assurance
Quality is an ongoing priority of Gemini’s management approach to ensure that all activities, deliverables, and services meet customer requirements and exceed expectations. Gemini’s processes are aimed at helping produce error-free, high-quality deliverables from the very start and emphasize that quality is the responsibility of each and every team member.
The components of Gemini’s Quality program include:
- Quality Assurance (QA) – QA refers to gaining confidence that a product or service that is delivered to the customer is free of problems. It is a systematic process that is used to ensure that the processes used to develop a product or to deliver a service meet specified requirements (i.e., QA is process oriented).
- Quality Control (QC) – QC refers to the system of tests, checks, inspections, and similar actions designed to ensure that intermediate products, as well as the deliverables themselves, meet required specifications and are free of defects regardless of the process that was followed in their development (i.e., QC is output oriented).
Quality certifications – In addition to having Project Management Professionals certified by the Project Management Institute, Gemini has a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), certified by the American Society for Quality. In addition to Lean Six Sigma, our CQE is experienced in certifications such as ISO 9000, CMMI, and quality guidelines such as the Baldrige Criteria.
